PowerTCP FTP for .NET 4.7.0.0 Released!

PowerTCP FTP for .NET 4.7 has been released with new features and maintenance fixes.

 

New in PowerTCP FTP for .NET:

  • Ftp.Type property to determine the current transfer type.
  • Ftp.DateTimeFormatInfo property to better support non-standard FTP time stamps.
  • 6TO4 support.

 

 Some of the maintenance fixes include:

  • All SSL connections will now use close-notify during the closing of the connection.
  • IPv6 addresses are now properly enclosed in brackets when used as a URI or URL.

 

Developer Note: The Listing.Months property has been removed and replaced by the Ftp.DateTimeFormatInfo property.

PowerTCP SSH and SFTP for .NET 4.8 Released!

PowerTCP SSH and SFTP for .NET 4.8 has been released with new features and maintenance fixes.

 

New in PowerTCP SSH and SFTP for .NET:

  • Added support for hmac-sha2-256 and hmac-sha2-512 MAC algorithms.
  • An IsSocket property was added to the SftpFileAttributes class to indicate when a file name corresponds to a network socket.

 

Some of the fixes include: 

  • Exceptions now preserve their call stack when re-thrown.
  • Resuming a file transfer download works as expected.

 

Developer Note:  Dart.Ssh.EventArgs was renamed to Dart.Ssh.BaseEventArgs to avoid an ambiguity with System.EventArgs. Ssh.StateChanged and Sftp.StateChanged event-handlers will need to be modified to reflect this change.

PowerTCP WebServer for ActiveX 1.9.5.0 Released!

PowerTCP WebServer for ActiveX 1.9.5.0 has been released with new features and maintenance fixes.

 

Some of the feature highlights include:

  • TLS 1.1 and TLS 1.2 support has been added.

 

 Some of the maintenance fixes include: 

  • Files added to the default files collection will now be served correctly. 
  • Files created through a Post action will no longer be automatically deleted once the Post event completes.

PowerTCP Mail for ActiveX 2.12 Released!

PowerTCP Mail for ActiveX 2.12.0.0 has been released with new maintenance fixes.

 

Some of the maintenance fixes include: 

  • None authentication will now work as expected.
  • Trailing spaces will no longer be dropped when filenames are folded over more than one line.

PowerSNMP for ActiveX 4.0.0.0 released!

PowerSNMP for ActiveX 4.0.0.0 has been released with new features and issue fixes.

 

Some of the feature highlights include:

  • SNMPV3 support
  • 64-bit ActiveX controls.
  • IPv6 Support.
  • Supports use of Apartment Threading or Free Threading.

PowerTCP Emulation for .NET 4.6.0.6 Released!

PowerTCP Emulation for .NET 4.6.0.6 has been released with new features and issue fixes.

 

Some of the feature highlights include:

  • Significantly improved rendering speed resulting a more responsive UI experience.
  • Improved CPU usage in most scenarios.
  • Improved support for National Character Set and Multinational mode operation.

 

Some of the fixed issues include: 

  • Addressed an issue where 8-bit escape sequences were sometimes erroneously being processed in 7-bit mode
  • Addressed an issue where the control could hang due to an incompatibility with some printer drivers when the PrintType property was set to auto or controller.
  • Addressed an issue where scrolling regions would sometimes be enforced erroneously.

PowerTCP Sockets for .NET 4.5.1.1 Released!

PowerTCP Sockets for .NET 4.5.1.1 has been released with an important issue fixed:

  • Previously, the server component could intermittently fail to post another pending accept if a failure occurred during a previous accept. Version 4.5.1.1 fixes this behavior and a pending accept will always be posted regardless of any failures.

PowerTCP Components are not affected by Heartbleed

PowerTCP Components that provide SSL functionality do not use OpenSSL. The PowerTCP component line uses CAPI (Microsoft's Cryptography API) to provide SSL functionality which does not contain the Heartbleed bug

PowerTCP FTP for .NET 4.5.5.2 Released!

Some of the feature highlights include:

  • A Response property has been added to the CopyResult object to provide the server response for individual file transfer requests.

 

Some of the fixed issues include: 

  • The count of the items in the List property of the ProgressEventArgs now reports 1 instead of 0 when transferring a single file.
  • The transfer type will now correctly reset when the GetSize method is called and the SIZE request fails.
  • The FtpProtocolException type has been made public.
  • An issue with establishing a data channel when using a proxy and a secure connection has been fixed.

PowerTCP Sockets for .NET 4.4.4.8 Released!

PowerTCP Sockets for .NET 4.4.4.8 has been released with new features and issue fixes.

  • PowerTCP Sockets for .NET has been updated for Visual Studio 2012 integration and Windows 8 compatibility.
  • Trial licensing operation updated.
  • Changed serialization to use simple partial name serialization to improve cross-version compatibility.
