Get and send mail in ASP with the ASP POP Mail Client
This sample demonstrates how a full-featured, "Hotmail-style" mail client can be created in ASP using the POP ActiveX Control (included with PowerTCP Mail for ActiveX). This sample demonstrates how easy it is to integrate the POP3 and SMTP protocols into your ASP script. Functionality included in this sample includes sending and receiving mail, displaying messages in a table, deleting messages, forwarding and replying to messages, and downloading attachments. Since the Pop and Smtp controls are able to construct/decode messages completely in memory (using the DartStream object), these controls are perfect for use in ASP.

This script could be easily modified to create your own web-based email client. Create a mail client for internal company use for employees to access from home. Add some graphics and create a professional mail client. Add features such as posting files to the ASP script to add as attachments.
